How does skin rejuvenation with ELOS Fotofacial IPL work?
The combined bi-polar radio frequency and light energies of the Fotofacial IPL treatment
precisely and safely target pigmented lesions such as freckles, sun spots, age spots and
broken capillaries. Over the course of a series of treatments the skin becomes more
even and brighter.
Is the ELOS Fotofacial IPL right for me?
The Fotofacial is an effective and gentle treatment for all skin types that can be used on
the face and body. However, depending on your skin condition, your expectations of
what the outcome will be must be realistic. We can safely treat all skin types and have
performed thousands of Fotofacial treatments so you can rest assured you are in good
hands.
When can I expect to see results?
Gradual and cumulative improvement of skin tone can be achieved in as little as 3
treatment sessions. However, the total number of required treatment sessions depend
on many factors such as your expected outcome, the severity of your skin condition,
your individual response to the treatment, and lifestyle. Treatments are done once every
4 weeks and can be repeated until you reach your desired result. We offer packages
tailored for your budget and concerns. Sometimes we recommend combining treatments
to achieve the maximum results.
Does it hurt?
The ELOS Fotofacial IPL treatment we offer is comfortable and very tolerable. The
handpiece has a cooling device that cools and numbs the surface of the skin before
each pulse. We also offer high quality topical anesthetic to ensure maximum comfort
during treatment. This is considered a no-downtime procedure. Most patients return to
their normal activities immediately after this visit.
