How Dysport® works
Over time, the muscles above and between the eyebrows repeatedly contract and
tighten, causing wrinkles. But, with just 1 injection into each of 5 points between
and over the eyebrows, Dysport blocks the signal from the nerve to the muscles,
ultimately resulting in a reduction of muscle activity and temporarily preventing
contraction of the muscles that cause frown lines.
For up to four entire months, you could have the look that you love. Dysport®
works to block the signal from the nerve to the muscles, resulting in a reduction of
muscle activity and temporarily preventing contraction of the muscles that cause
frown lines. It's important to note that you should not be treated with Dysport more
frequently than every 90 days.
Treat your frown lines in just 10 to 20 minutes
Treatment with prescription Dysport can temporarily improve the look of your
moderate to severe frown lines. Treatment generally takes just 10 to 20 minutes,
although treatment times can vary from person to person.
Repeatable results
Dysport is a formulation that has been shown to deliver temporary improvements
in moderate to severe frown lines, even with repeat treatments. So, the effect of
repeat treatment with Dysport may be comparable to your first use. You should
wait at least 90 days between Dysport treatments. The safety of Dysport has been
studied in up to 12 repeated treatments. Clinical studies demonstrated continued
efficacy with up to four repeated treatments.
