Tribeam “Eraser Laser” for Acne, AKA TRI-PEEL Tri-Beam Gen Technique™ offers the newest technology in acne treatment. Traditional technology uses blue light therapies but the Tri-Beam uses a safe 1064nm laser to target deep pores and bacteria plus shrinking oil glands, smoothing the surface of skin. This is a great alternative treatment if you tried traditional blue light therapy without success. Does it hurt? This treatment feels like a warm beam brushing across the skin. Most patients find the treatment painless and comfortable. We use a high quality numbing cream to ensure your maximum comfort. What can I expect during my appointment? The appointment normally lasts 60-90 minutes. We use a high quality topical numbing cream and allow it to work for a minimum of 15 minutes, which ensures maximum comfort. Then we use a special technique which is unique to our office, which involves applying black carbon lotion onto the treatment areas. This special technique allows the machine to penetrate the pores and oil glands deeper to target bacteria and get better results. The carbon incubates on your skin for a minimum of 15 minutes. The treatment itself takes about 10 minutes. After the treatment there may be some mild redness but you can continue with your normal activities. How many treatments do I need? A series of treatments is needed for maximum results. The number of treatments vary depending on the severity of your acne. On average a series is 3-6 treatments done once every 2 weeks. Common treatment areas Face Neck Chest Back
